How this site makes money

Trades AI Use Cases is a free, independent directory run by Daniel Massaad. To keep it free, the site may earn money in a few ways. This page explains each one in plain language.

The short version

  • Money never changes the list. Commissions and sponsorships never change which tools or entries are listed, or their order. Tools are sorted A–Z. Entries are sorted by date.
  • Affiliate links say “Paid link” right next to the link.
  • Paid placements say “Sponsored.”
  • Entries are never for sale. A use case is listed because there's a real public source, never because someone paid.

Affiliate links

Some software companies pay a commission when someone signs up through a link from a site like this one. If we join a company's program, the button on that tool's page may use our affiliate link. When it does, you'll see a Paid link label right next to the button. If you sign up or buy through it, we may earn a commission. It doesn't cost you anything extra.

Links without that label go straight to the vendor's official website, and we earn nothing from them.

Right now: no tool on this site has an affiliate link. We'll keep this page current as that changes.

Sponsored placements

Companies can buy clearly marked ad space, such as a sidebar slot, a featured tool card or a newsletter mention (see Sponsor). Every paid placement is labeled Sponsored. A sponsor doesn't get an entry, can't edit entries, and can't change where any tool or entry appears in the directory. A company can be both a sponsor and an affiliate partner, and we disclose both.

Right now: no sponsored placements are booked.

The micro1 referral

Our company data page explains micro1's company data partnership program and includes a referral link. If a company joins micro1's program through that link, this site may earn a referral fee from micro1. We aren't micro1, we don't decide who gets accepted, and we make no promises about acceptance, timing or what any company may be paid. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of earnings.

Our own company

Daniel Massaad also runs FieldLedger, job-costed bookkeeping for contractors. It's mentioned on this site as his own company. It doesn't get editorial entries or a tool listing unless a contractor's public use case names it, and any mention is clearly identified as his company.

Vendor numbers

Many entries cite a vendor's own case study. We label those results as vendor-reported. We haven't audited them, and listing a tool isn't an endorsement.
